HOCK PENG, a diversified group of companies with interests in property development, building and civil engineering construction, dredging, land reclamation, hotels and supermarket & departmental stores.
Our story begins in 1960, as a furniture maker in Sibu Town. With experience gained, we expanded to subcontracting carpentry and joinery work for the building contractors. In 1970, we started venturing into construction works and property development in Bintulu and Sibu. Spurred on by the successful completion of numerous projects, in 1980, we expanded the scope of its construction and property development businesses and at the same time diversified into hotel business and trading activities.
Since 1970, we have successfully completed and delivered through our property development and construction arm, thousands of units of houses and commercial shophouses, high-rise hotel / office / residential buildings and commercial complexes throughout Sarawak.
